Alex is an intimacy choreographer and coordinator who puts people & storytelling first.


Her work has been seen onstage at McCarter Theatre Center, Arena Stage, Shakespeare and Company, and undergraduate academic institutions across the East Coast. She is a Visiting Artist at Barnard College of Columbia University, providing introductory intimacy and consent-centered tools for undergraduate theatre classes as well as intimacy choreographing their theatrical productions. She also works as an intimacy coordinator for the screen, collaborating with directors and producers to provide a transparent, smooth process from pre-production to shooting. She also consults on projects of all kinds regarding sensitive content.

In her process, Alex uses trauma-informed practices. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid through the Association of Mental Health Coordinators (2022), and certified in First Aid/CPR through Red Cross (2022).

She is the assistant to intimacy choreographer, coordinator, and consultant Chelsea Pace.

Alex is Associate Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE). As of 2024, she has over 150 teaching and learning hours with TIE. Since 2019, she has continuously grown her practice through her study with TIE as well as Intimacy Directors and Choreographers and B-ik Arts. She’s studied with Chelsea as well as Laura Rikard, Kaja Dunn, Raja Benz, Kim Shively, and Emily Rollie, among other leading intimacy professionals and scholars.

In her work and her life, Alex centers women, the queer community, & people of the Global Majority. She has extensive experience choreographing sensitive content with young and/or emerging artists, as well as high school students. She has frequently choreographed for the Asian and Asian American community, the queer community, and for scenes of comedic intimacy, and prioritizes serving projects for and by underrepresented communities.

Alex has served as an intimacy choreographer for the stage, an intimacy coordinator for the screen, and a guest lecturer at academic institutions. A detailed resume with intimacy credits and references is available upon request.
